Bulleit Frontier Whiskey 10 Year

Intro:  Bulleit Bourbon 10 Year Old is Tom Bulleit’s selected reserve. Aged in charred American white oak, select Bulleit Bourbon barrels were set aside to age for 10 years. The result is a special expression of Bulleit that provides a rich, deep, incredibly smooth sipping experience.

Review:  The nose...sweetness over the top of fumes, very nice.

The first sip...no lip burn, tongue burn slightly...corn overwhelming but not in a bad way.  Like all bourbons this has the bourbon undertones present with grain on top.  Second sip...alcohol presence is winning on this sip.  Third sip...now the flavors are turning south and I'm just getting cleaning product after taste...no not like I actually sit around and drink drano...I'm not JDub!  But the smells of products that attach the senses is what I am gathering.  Final sip...let's go...eh, its ok bourbon but it's still providing cleaner aromas.  This started out good but ended average.

Is it worth the $?  I think this was $45 when I bought it but now you can get it for $35.  If you are into sourced bourbons then yeah you could buy it, surprisingly it's a ten year bourbon that doesn't rival 10 year Russell's or Eagle Rare.
